Temperament, Eating and Activity

Children and adults have different temperaments that affect how and what they eat and their exercise habits. When parents recognize these differences, they can plan meals and activities around their child’s needs.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize temperament types in parents and children.
  • Develop strategies for providing activities and healthy foods in ways the children and adults in the family will enjoy.
